We got news. Good news. Ti Ti and Ah May will be parents next year and that means Ian and Ivan will be uncles.

We pray that all will be well.

No we didn't forget his birthday. The Toiman trip was his birthday present. He even got a lovely homemade gift too.

We got the car...

Yup the car is finally here. We got it a month in advance.

Die-Die Must Try - Cendol

For all those we loves "Gula Melaka". This is a must try. You just cannot go to Melaka without trying this cendol. It's like the "Mata Kuching" of Petaling Street. How can you go to Petaling STreet without drinking that? Only thing is that this is way way better. The taste was superb. Yummy. It was so good that I didn't even have enough time to take out my camera. I have to use my phone camera to capture this. It ain't much to look at. Initially we thought that we will probably need them to give us more Gula Melaka...because we could hardly see it. But...wait until you put a scoop of it into your mouth...you will be....................

Trip To Tioman - Day 4 (12th June 2009)

Just saying bye bye to the fish.
"I want to sit outside the chalet one more time..."

View of the sea beside the jetty while we waited for the ferry.

Time really flies when you are having fun. It's time to leave already. We decided to leave via the 10.30 ferry instead of the 12.30 but then again we were caught at one of the bay where some people were left stranded by the 7.30 ferry. That ferry didn't turn up so our ferry was loaded. Personally I was looking out for the escape hatch already...in case of emergency. Thank the LORD that nothing happened.

Once back in Mersing...we proceeded to "Kentucky Fried Chicken" for our lunch. Now this is just to fill up our stomach...before we catch our dinner in Melaka...Jonker Street...the highlight for the night...or day for that matter.

What do we do when we are in Melaka's Jonket Street? We walk and we...EAT
The food there was wonderful and I must make mention of the cendol in my Die-Die Must Try section. It's really out of the world. It deserved to be mentioned separately.

Trip To Tioman - Day 3 (11th June 2009)

Another day and...now what shall we do today? Well, let's go swimming (again). But let's be a little different...let's go to the stream instead. So we hike into the jungle insearch of the little opening in the brooke called "Rock Falls".

It was the best swim ever. The water was really cold.

Now...after the swim in the river...we went to the beach for a swim...wah ha ha...we are young again (now paying for it).
We had a "Guess-The-Buttock-Imprint" Game. Can you guess?
We went to a local Chinese Restaurant for our lunch and we had one of the most "expensive" (relative) lunch ever. For 5 plates of fried rice and 2 plates of noodle, fruit juices and 1 bottle of beer...we paid RM95.00 for it. Local food ok. Nothing special. The drinks killed us.

Guess what we did after the lunch?
We went swimming (for one...it sunbathing) again.
