Yasmin Ahmad's Work - Funeral
Seems this was a commercial, entitled "Funeral", that the late Yasmin did for the Singapore Government. It's really touching and words well written. Truly we will miss her work of arts.

Meng and Pao Kai's Wedding Dinner
Meng and Pao Kai's Wedding Dinner went really well. I'm especially pround of my sister's "Thank You" speech.
We started the day with some food (really yummy) and some sleep (or tried to sleep).

Then we proceed on to the simple traditional (My brother try to act as the "Tai Kum Cheh". But he did gave us some laughs. Thanks bro.) Tea Ceremony

The night was when we really get to enjoy the company of relatives and friends and of course Sister's speech.

Yee Lai Houng (Mistress Street)
We were back in Ipoh recently and visited the Yee Lai Hong or Panglima Street for lunch. This is how the street looks like and it used to be a street strong in neighbourhood community.

Now I know some may not agree to take this place as an example of community unity...but the point is...were are we heading now. What had happened to our neighbourhood community spirit? Now it is like "You take care of yourself and me, mine" or "Don't bother me. I'm too busy".
We have now become individualistic. We are constantly in a world of our own. The computers of course contributed much with Internets and things like "The Sims World". We make or build our own make belief world. We can be whomever we want to be. We spend time, much time on our own. We hardly plays games like, tops, cards, skipping ropes, softballs, badminton etc together.
Well the point is...let's make efforts to spend physical time together. Talk to each other face to face. Have Teh Tarik together. This help builds Community Spirit.
So call me for a cup of teh or coffee.

Poh Chai
We were "given" (more like we have been asked to baby sit for an indefinite period of time) a dog by our nephew and his wife. Really cute and obedient dog. Really a true blue house dog.He will do his business onto a sheet of towel. He quietly stay in his "room" when we put him there. He would follow me around and will sit close by my side all the time. In short...the ideal or close to ideal dog.
Doesn't he reminds you of the CJ7 movie?
