Birthday "Bash"

Surprise !!! I got a Birthday "Bash" last night. It was a dinner my wife arranged with our dear friends in a quaint little (not really that little actually) in a place inside Kuala Lumpur bit with a Kampung feeling. They have a wonderful well polished PR Boss by the name Desmond.

Thank you darling for the lovely dinner.

This was our dinner. Now they are well tucked inside our tummies.

Ginger Chicken........................Brinjal

Siew Pak Choy In Balacan.....Spare Rib

Fish (Can't Remember The Name...but really lovely)

After that we move over to Old Town White Coffee (for the adults while the kids had their great time talking and playing with each other. But as for Ailsa enjoyed watching her cartoon on her daddy's phone.

Now as for the bill...you must be wondering how much it cost us...ha ha...not gonna tell you but will show you the name of the restaurant. It's not the amount, it's the heart that matters.

Snake And Ladder Game

Ivan likes the game of Snake And Ladder that his "Kei Ma" bought for him and Ian. But I would like to record this...Ivan is will try ways and means to try to win. He will use the slightest excuse to restart the game if he is lagging behind. But if he is winning and has pass you...he will go "Neh Neh Neh Neh Neh!!!"

Die Die Must Try - Mini Egg Tart

Mini Egg Tart

Opposite Gerai Makan Cheng Hai near the 7-11 Shop is the Mini Egg Tart. Another must try. The pastry is well done. Soft and flakes. It's a bit sweet but for those with the sweet tooth...they will not want to pass this out.

The Egg Tart is their cash cow so most of the time...before they can come out of the oven, it would have been sold out.

Presently they are selling it at RM 0.60 per piece.

Die Die Must Try - Chicken Rice

Gerai Makan Hai Cheng.

The best tasting Chicken Rice around here. It's situated in the main hawkers' street of Taman Muda / Taman Putra of the Ampang Council.

Never Fear GPS Is Here

Yes ! Never Fear GPS Is Here. Indeed we can now boldly go where we have not gone before. Ha! Ha! For Our Tai Loh has graciously given us his GPS.

Yeepee Da Ba Doooooo !!!

(PS. Guess which 3 TV Series I've "quoted" or "misquoted" here.)

Kids Singing "Tong Hua"

Our kids attempting to sing a (assisted) Karaoke Version of "Tong Hua".

Part 1

Part 2

Ivan's Cough...Remedy

Ivan has been coughing since last night. We took him to a chinese doctor and this is what the doctor recommended he takes. Gross but he down it which ease.

Which Part You Don't Understand.

Ivan is one who will always ask "Why?" no matter what. He really dives us up the wall. We will be like

Dad : "Ivan can you shower now? It's getting late and you may catch a cold"

Ivan : "Why?"

Dad : "Hello!!? Which part of the 'It's getting late and catching a cold, do you not understand?'"

No matter how many reasons you give him for doing something....he will always ask "Why?". But then when you ask him "Which part of the..." question...he would quietly obey. But today....now that's a different story.

We were having our brunch in "Old Town Coffee" and Ian ordered a bowl of "Ipoh Hor Fun". He was drinking the soup...till the last drop...when

Mom : Ian, don't finish the soup. It's salty. It will make you thirsty and it's not good for you.

Ian : Why?

Dad : Ian, which part of the "Don't Finish The Soup" "It's Will Make You Thirsty" and "It's Not Good For You"...that you don't understand?

Ivan : "Don't" ?

Dinner And Sending Off For Mun Haeng

The Dinner

A Toast To Mom

The GameMaster At Play

One Of The Victims

Leaving On A Jet Plane

Now, this is drama with a Capital "D". That's my wife. No. No. You Want No Drama. No No Drama. (PS. If she finds out that I loaded this picture she may want this to be removed. So if you like this, please put a comment about it.)

We were all so sad since Mun Haeng left us for his studies that we have to cheer ourselves up. What better way then to tuck ourselves with a good Fook Kuen Chau of the famous Petaling Steet. Ivan is still asking for the food even as I write this.

KDE Club - No More

At last...thanks to my dear wife...we were able to sell off our KDE Club Membership. One less worry and one less payment to consider every month.
