Kids' Sports Day

It's "THAT" time of the year again...where the kids tried their best to win a medal...while the parents have to wait...wait...wait...for their kids event to come one then to quicky get out of there....but then again...the kids needs us now...but years later...they may just say...."Pa, I don't want you to follow me." So in the meantime...while there is time...we will enjoy them as much as we can.

Its good to keep abreast with the sons' activities in school, sports being one of them. Father never knew me as a sportsman. I've represented my school before in certain sports events, houses and probably you all never knew that I was in contention for the sportsman of the year award in 1971. I hurt my right arm during a javalin practice (it still hurts today if I throw things too hard with it) and lost out because it hurts my other events in discus and shot putt. Well, those were the days. Keep a lookout, you'll never know what your sons are capable of.

Can;t say about my kids...being a sportsman or not...am happy that they play field games instead of computer games.
