Earth Hour 2009 - View Of Kuala Lumpur

Before 8.30pm.........................After 8.30pm

Before 8.30pm.........................After 8.30pm
We started going up to the Look-Out Point in Ulu Langat around 6.30pm. We were surprise (we shouldn't actually) found that the car park at the base of the Look-Out Point was full and cars were already driving out of the parking lot. But thank be to GOD...we found a place to park our car nearer to the entrance of the staircase.
Needless to say...the Look_out Point was full of people...trying to look for a table to sit and to order their food. Well, again thank be to GOD we managed to find a nice little corner inside the Gasoline Restaurant and we are parked right under the air-condition unit.
Ordered our food and we were serve at almost "lighting" speed (about 10 to 15 minutes after ordering). Mind you the restaurant was filled to the brim.
8.30 came and many of the restaurants' customers were crowding the edge trying to see the lights in Kuala Lumpur going off...but sad to say...were only the lights to the KLCC and the KL Tower (and a few more buildings) were being visible in participating in the Earth Hour....really not that the one hour will really make much difference to the environment but the fact that one is seen to be conscious and conscientious through out one's life. Not To Pollute And Not To Waste.

Nonetheless, Happy Earth Day everyone.

Trip To Langkawi - Day 4 (20th March 2009)

Time sure flies ...especially when you are having fun. Now it's the last day of our trip and we have to make preparation. We need to be back in Kuala Lumpur by 8.00 pm latest because one of the kids needs to attend a performance.
Well....still...there is sometime for breakfast and a quick photo session.
Like taking a picture of this squirrel?
Or the truly sun-tanned mummy?
How about the kid's breakfast?
Padi Field?
Outside the Jetty Building?
And there is also inside the Jetty Building.
Anyway we put it....or do it...it's still goodbye to this short but fun holiday.
Bye Langkawi.
You made some ladies truly happy.

Hello Kuala Kedah Jetty.

Trip To Langkawi - Day 3 (19th March 2009) - Part 3

Fish Feeding - Next Stop

Visited The Floating Restaurant and made our order for food before we proceed to the Crocodile Cave

Then, it's back to the Floating Restaurant for our dinner.

After The Dinner...It Was Time To Get Back To The Car.

We went over To Kuah Town to do some shopping...mainly chocolates. The kiddos stayed inside the car (and had a party under the watchful pair of eyes) while the ladies did a quick shopping.

Then it was back to the Resort for our rest.
