On the day that I have signed up to be David's Prayer Partner in his participation in Evangelical Explosion or EE in short, our Kakak who had been with us for almost Two And A Half years decided to runaway...but not before she finished up the washing and cleaning. She left via the back door while we were still out.
We know that GOD is in control and we will continue to give HIM thanks and to look to HIM for help. HE had actually prepared us and provided for us...somehow for this...though :
a) The maid went back to Indonesia for two whole weeks last year...which prepared us for a life without a maid.
b) Prior to her leaving the house, she finished up most of her work, thus didn't leave us in a lurch when we discovered her absence.
c) Somehow...I have decided to step down as a leader in our Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) for this year...after a long 7 years in it...and now being an ordinary member. I was hoping to get back into action actually...but now I know why I should not.
d) Monday is a holiday and as for Tuesday and Wednesday, Ivan will be back late with extra classes...so it gives us time to adjust to the change.
e) School holiday is a week away and BSF will be having a week's break too...so again we have a cushion.
All in all, I must say that GOD has provided even before we cried out to HIM..which reminds us of Exodus 2 which is this week's lesson under BSF...where the LORD heard the cries of the Isrealites and thus sent Moses to do the job.
As for our Kakak...we do not know where she has gone to but we have prayed for her and we will continue to pray for her.
