We are finally letting go of our dear little car which has been in our possession for, 2 months and 5 days short of 7 years. It has served us well...being an automatic car, powered steering, windows and side mirrors. And to top it all...it has been a really economical car to run.
So why are we selling it off? Blame it on the 7 - Year Itch. No. Not really. It just that we are pretty concerned about safety lately...having seen and heard that the safety features of this car is pretty low. And a friend of mine who drives a Land Rover...his comment as he sits in this car is..."The car is so low that it feels like I'm sitting on the road."
With the kids being seated at the back of the car...I really couldn't imagine if a car, let alone a lorry or bus hitting us from the back. Ooh..really scary.
The fact that we have been safe throughout these 7 years...I really need to thank GOD for HIS protection.
We once owned a Citroen Xantia, when we sold it, we see it as "Getting rid of it". As for our Perodua Kelisa, it's "We are parting with it".
