The bag we found in our rubbish bin

What are the chances that you will pick up a RM5 from the ground? 1 in 10,000? How about picking up a RM5 from the ground and on the same day a bag full of credit cards, driving license and apartment keys...on the same day? 1 in a 1,000,000. This happened to me yesterday.

Yesterday while walking back with a kids after a short badminton stint, I notice a RM5 bill lying on the ground. With nobody nearby I guess in this case is a finder's keepers.

Later the same night while on the way out for dinner we noticed a bag in our rubbish bin. I picked it up...to the disgust of my wife (because it came from the rubbish bin), to check it out. Found some credit cards, membership cards, a driving license and two sets of apartment entry cards and keys inside. But no money neither was there any hand phone.

Located a name card and we called. Turn out to the owner's husband and we quickly arrange to meet to hand back the handbag to them. I cold see it was a relief to the couple when they got the bag back and I must say it was a relief for us too to return the item back to the rightful owner.
