Christmas : A Time of Giving and Sharing

Yes, Christmas is a time of giving and sharing...and the following were Ivan 's ways...

1st Incident :
Ivan received 2 presents from his 2 aunties on Christmas, a cute little piggy coin box ("piggy-bank") from Sai-2-Ma and a bubble gun blower from 2-Ma-Ma...Ian saw the latter gift and said to me. "Mom, can Ivan share his present?". I replied first, "Of course." Ivan agreed and said, "Yes, Ko-Ko. I'd share with you my piggy-bank. You can put in more money..."

2nd Incident :
We were having dinner at Ben's cousin's place and Ivan had a full cup of A&W's Root Beer in front of his plate. I took several gulps which reduced the drink to half. A few seconds later, Ivan asked if the drink was his.

I nodded and he asked, "Did you drink my root beer Mom?".
"Yeah....can Mummy drink?"
"But I want to drink it all by myself."
"Yes, but can you share your drink with Mummy?"
"You can get your own drink..."

Well done and thank you, Ivan...for showing us your meaning of "sharing" this Christmas season...
